Saturday market along the Mekong. It had everything; crafts, painting, food, clothes, crazes singing very badly, beautiful dancers and probably the most ugly Thai dancer and even Mormons. The latter kindly give free English lessons at their church. A bit later a band and dancing. Line dancing is popular.
Passed Beer Belly Bar and heard, ‘People will think what they think’. So it is a place where one can get advice and philosophize and I thought it was just full of pissed old fools.
Storm again in evening scattering the market stalls.
